The DX88 provides 8 remotely controlled mic/line inputs and 8 outputs on Phoenix / Euroblock connectors and is an easy way to add local or remote expansion to AHM matrix processors or SQ, dLive and Avantis mixers. The form factor is ideal for fixed installation and perfectly complements the built in I/O of an AHM-16 or AHM-32 processor in applications where additional analogue I/O is required. The expander connects via a single Cat5e cable to the audio processor, mixer or upstream DX Expander. Any 2 DX Expanders can be daisy chained on each DX or SLink port, for example, a DX88-P for fixed I/O and a second DX88-P, portable DX168, or wall mount DX164-W in a separate room. An optional rack mount kit is available for installing a single DX88-P, or two DX88-P expanders, in a single 1U rack space
